Has anybody else made the switch from codesys to siemens? is STEP7 " Classic" (for S7-300/400) and STEP7 in TIA (for S7-1200/1500).

3 Oct 2018 Hi, i just want to control the PLC by codesys, this time is siemens, i'll try to do with another PLC in the future.

I am on this forum because I would like to communicate with a Siemens Simatic S7-1200 controller link to a raspberry pi 2. For programming I use Codesys 3.5 SP10 with the Profinet. Hopefully this helps a little but usual a programming environment from the same brand should be better and more stable, if you ask me.
